Yesterday I enjoyed an absolutely delightful day with our daughter Sarah and our grandson Moses. I ventured up the freeway, stopping along the way for a cup of coffee with our other daughter Hannah at her workplace in Portland. It was so wonderful to see Hannah and to hear about what's going on in her life. Soon after that, I arrived at Sarah's home in Vancouver, and saw the sweet little guy pictured above. He is SO very, very precious. Growing so fast, and such a little charmer.
Mo is really beginning to smile now. How could he not? He was so longed-for, and is so loved. He is absolutely scrumptious. He smells so sweet (well, most of the time!), and his skin is like a velvety-soft Hershey's Kiss! And I did a lot of kissing of those dear precious cheeks!
Sarah and I took Mo for a long walk in her neighborhood. Moses slept peacefully the entire time in his stroller. I just treasure any time I can be with our kids and grandkids, and yesterday was no exception. How I love this little guy, brought into our lives by a loving God who delights in answering our prayers in the very best and the very sweetest of ways.
